What it does

Most metadata removers re-compress your photo. This one doesn't.

Lossless, not re-encoded

Scrubb rewrites the container around your image and copies the compressed picture across untouched. A cleaned JPEG or HEIC is byte-for-byte identical where it counts and keeps its original format. No softer detail, no HEIC quietly turning into a JPEG.

Every file verified before you see it

Scrubb re-reads what it wrote. The image must decode, match the original's dimensions, hash to the same pixels, and contain none of the fields you asked to remove. A file that fails any check is deleted, not handed to you.

Your originals stay where they are

Cleaning always writes a new file. Replacing an original is a separate choice behind its own confirmation, and even then the replacement is written and verified first. Camera RAW negatives are refused outright.

Nothing leaves your device
